While the nation celebrates soup, let’s also celebrate another source of delightful nourishment. I Tim. 4:6 says, “… you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the sound doctrine which you have been following.”
Wise advice from an older Christian, Paul, to his young disciple, Timothy. Entrust takes its marching orders from Paul’s further advice to Timothy, in II Tim. 2:2. “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
Be nourished by words of faith and sound doctrine. Then, entrust that nourishment to others, who will in turn pass along to still others.
Here. Have a bowl of soup!
