Large Group of People

Black or White by Michael Jackson
Ebony and Ivory by Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder
Black and White by Three Dog Night
Why Can’t We Be Friends by War

So many artists, so many songs, about race. DC Talk sums it up beautifully in Colored People, starting with:

“Pardon me, your epidermis is showing, sir
I couldn’t help but note your shade of melanin
I tip my hat to the colorful arrangement
Cause I see the beauty in the tones of our skin” *

And moving on to say:

“Ignorance has wronged some races
And vengeance is the Lord’s
If we aspire to share this space
Repentance is the cure” *

How might you need to repent?
