Fort Wayne training

F2017-01-13-appleseedort Wayne, Indiana, is the second-largest city in the state, with a little over a quarter of a million residents.

It’s named for General “Mad” Anthony Wayne who established a military fort at the confluence of three rivers in 1794. The original fort is long gone, but the settlement which grew up around it became a town – Fort Wayne – in 1840.

John Chapman, better known as Johnny Appleseed, died and was buried here in 1845. Well-known daughters of the city include actress Jenna Fischer (“The Office”) and Shelley Long (“Cheers”).
Fort Wayne has at least two nicknames: The City That Saved Itself and Summit City.

Entrust’s Sherry Bohn and colleagues bring Women-to-Women Ministry Training (WWMT) to Fort Wayne beginning today. Pray for each woman involved in the training and for Sherry and the other facilitators. Pray for stamina, teachable hearts and unity of spirit. Pray for transformed lives and ministries, radiating out from this training to Fort Wayne and beyond.
