Millions of people won’t be here for an anniversary tomorrow – the anniversary of the day in the U.S., 44 years ago, when a decision was made that ended their lives much too soon. A decision which meant America is more than 50 million people smaller than it could be. A decision which meant we never got to meet those 50-some million, or benefit from what their lives might have become. A day on which millions of us who have been given the gift of life, can only mourn the lost, hurt with those who hurt and pray for better decisions to come.
Tomorrow is the 44th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Grieve with those who grieve. Mourn with those who mourn. Pray for better decisions. Love those around you.
