Do all to the glory of God

Oh, these sweet little sand bubbler crabs. You’ll be amazed watching them work their little antennae off, creating intricate patterns of beauty. And then, your heart might ache as you see all their effort washed away.

Remind you of anything? Maybe those plates and cups you load in and out of the dishwasher multiple times a week? The socks your kids wear, you wash, they wear, you wash, ad infinitum? Or the beautiful billboard you design, the article you write, the hair you style, the cake you decorate, the photo you take and share. You work hard, it’s beautifully-crafted, it’s appreciated for 3.2 minutes and then it’s gone. Still, it’s worth doing, right?

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.” (Eccl.9:10)

“Do all to the glory of God.” (1 Cor. 10:31)
