Muslims in the U.S. conclude their month-long Ramadan fast today, with a feast called Eid al-Fitr. Friends and families will exchange greetings and gifts and eat a lot of special food today. Oftentimes, Christians join their Muslim neighbors in this feast. It’s a good time to share food and fellowship together and to inquire about any spiritual insights your Muslim friends gained during their fast.
Prayerfully ask about visions and dreams, about questions that arose in their own minds as they fasted, about longings or desires stirred in their souls. Listen well to your friends’ answers. Then let God speak truth through you. This is a season of great spiritual openness among Muslims. Make the most of the time!
