Middle kids

Middle kids, stand up and be counted! Today is your day — National Middle Child Day. Rather than feel sorry for yourself, rather than buy all that stuff about being a “poor, lost, middle kid,” remember, middle kids are often more likely to become entrepreneurs, leaders, award-winners. Consider Abraham Lincoln, Bill Gates, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, John F. Kennedy, Teddy Roosevelt, Warren Buffet.

Better yet, consider this. “There are no middle children in God’s family.” That’s the title of blogger Aaron Armstrong’s post of Sept. 4, 2016 (http://www.bloggingtheologically.com/?s=middle+child). Referencing Gal. 3:27-29, Armstrong says, “The Father’s affection for each of us is always more than we can imagine. He always has time to hear from each one of us. In Christ, there are no middle kids.”

Remind the “middle kids” in your world today of their tremendous value to you, society and most of all, to God!

Happy Family Walking
